Generating the Future of Offshore Wind Energy for Victoria

Generating the Future of Offshore Wind Energy for Victoria

About the Project

High Sea Wind (HSW) is a bottom-fixed offshore wind project in the early stages of development.  Located in the Bass Strait, 76km off the coast of Gippsland, Victoria, this project will play a key role in supporting the Victorian Government’s offshore wind energy targets while bringing significant economic benefits to the Gippsland region.

Exclusively developed by Ocean Winds, this project will have a capacity of around 1.3 gigawatts (GW), enough to power 1 million Victorian households each year and avoid 5.3 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
